We are excited to launch a Kickstarter campaign for the second Documentary-Interview featuring Frank Arjava Petter and hosted by René Vögtli.
This project delves into Reiki’s history, its controversies, and their resolution. It aims to heal rifts and to become a case-study of reconciliation for and beyond the Reiki community. The documentary will be a free-flowing conversation captured over three days, resulting in a 40-50 minute main feature video and an archive of the entire discussion.

About Frank Arjava Petter
Frank Arjava Petter is an internationally renowned Reiki master, teacher and author. His 1996 book ‘Reiki Fire’ and the revelations therein lastingly impacted the understanding of Reiki’s history.
Arjava’s work catalysed the emergence of ‘Japanese Reiki’, a cause of dissonance with the then dominant ‘Western’ Reiki practice.
Arjava is a sought-after speaker and teacher worldwide. His historic relevance, his unique perspective and extensive experience make him a pivotal figure in the ongoing dialogue and reconciliation within the Reiki community.

Archive: The full and unedited interview in short videos, accessible for a minimal fee, aimed at researchers and enthusiasts of Reiki and complementary medicine.

Financial Goal
Our goal is to raise € 18,000. The budget amounts to € 33’000; we have already secured € 15,000 from sponsors and are seeking additional support through this Kickstarter campaign.

While the primary audience is the global Reiki community, this documentary aims to reach beyond to individuals interested in holistic health, reconciliation, and intercultural relationships. Our previous documentary attracted over 20,000 views, and we anticipate exceeding this with the new project.
Previous relevant projects
1st Documentary Interview with Phyllis Lei Furumoto
In 2017, we launched the groundbreaking documentary “Reconciliation – Along the Path of Mastery” featuring an in-depth interview with Phyllis Lei Furumoto. This work delved into the historical roots of division within the Reiki community. It provided a solid foundation for open dialogue and ongoing healing.
We captured 14 hours of candid conversation, which was then meticulously edited into a powerful 50 minute main feature. It reached more than 20,000 people, demonstrating our ability to engage and resonate with a broad audience.
The success of this project showcased our commitment to fostering reconciliation and understanding within the Reiki community. The main feature is available on different platforms, including YouTube and has received acclaim for its depth and insight.

RTalk – Our talkshow
Reconciliation takes place in many places. It covers a wide array of topics and people of all walks of life are involved. Their truths are the raw material for the work at hand.
From 2020 – 2023 we introduced more than 50 of these people and their thoughts, showcasing the cultivation of mutual understanding and a peaceful coexistence within the diversity of our world. Our motto was to let the art of ‘agreeing to disagree’ reign.
The RTalk epsiodes appeared 3 weekly and had a total of more than 20’000 views.
