RTalk 'Transition' - Golo Pilz and Robert Kramps

9 April 2021

Consciousness, climate and Corona –

Humanity is challenged to actively work together to shift the way we inhabit the earth. In this episode of RTalk we explore how spiritual practices contribute to this and what this entails: going from self-directed individual practice to taking responsibility for acting collectively and speaking your truth.

This is one of the rare episodes of RTalk with two guests. A Yogi, Golo Pilz who is normally living in Rajasthan, India and Robert Kremps from the Netherlands. He is a Reiki Master and newly elected President of Reiki Home.

Together with their host, René Vögtli, the three discussants share experiences and examples of ways to bring spirituality into daily life to actively work towards the creation of a healthy society. In which people speak their truth and combine spiritual practice with inspired action to actually make a difference in to the world. Because that’s what we’re here for.

“… inner values suddenly find resonance on a political level.”

Practical, every day life and in particular the Corona crisis in relation to climate change are discussed. Hard solutions in a rapidly changing environment are scrutinized.

“… So, yes, we can work together and discuss all kind of technical solutions but if we don’t carry the basic respect for human beings in our interaction all the technical solutions of the world won’t get us there”.

Although the three men each differ in their approach, they discover a lot of commonalities which in turn creates an atmosphere of confidence and optimism despite the currently gloomy state of affairs.

A surprising interlude in this episode comes from the Dalai Lama who reminds us that not only can we not rely on “god, good, god” or “Buddha, Buddha, Buddha” and must take the helm of our destiny into out own hands but exudes confidence in the young generation and in humanity’s capability, both spiritually as well as hands-on.

Robert Kramps

Biography

Robert, educated as a tax lawyer, developed a warm interest in human development at a young age. For 15 years he worked for international consultancy firms, the Dutch ministry of Economic Affairs and as a trainer non-violent communications. Since 2007 he is self-employed and delves deeply into the practice of Reiki and regenerative development.

“As long as I can remember I have been fascinated by the interaction between people. I enjoy finding ways to live in relationship with the earth and work with others in a respectful and joyful way. My search to develop in this led me to mediation, systemic work and non-violent communication. In 2006 I got in touch with Reiki and it immedeately caught my heart. In 2015 I was initiated as a Reiki Master and since then I combine two things that I am passionate about: creating regenerative organizations and support people in the accompanying personal development process.”

Currently Robert teaches Reiki and is executive director of MobiUs Foundation. An organisation that helps to grow people and initiatives aimed at realizing societal development and care for the earth.
