RTalk 'Unconditional' - Yuliya Sasina-Yates

11 September 2020
RTalk 'Unconditional' with Yuliya Sasina Yates

‘Unconditional’ as in love, universal income and interrelationships. A friend gives another money with no strings attached; volunteering work not expecting gratitude. Really? What’s easier: receiving or giving ‘unconditionally’? How do I detect if I am secretly expecting a return? Besides the high-flying philosophy, what does ‘unconditionality’ mean in practicality, in real life? The two discussants explore answers and tell of real life situations with Yuliya challenging the appropriateness of René’s intention in a grocery shop in Germany.
