Claire O’Shea is an adherent of two Reiki practices: Usui Shiki Ryoho (Reiki Alliance style) and Jikiden Reiki. A choice, a tight-rope act? Or as naturally co-existent as two different trees in a forest?

Claire has been teaching and practicing Reiki as an Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master since 1988. She joined the Reiki Alliance in 1989 where she is a senior member.

Claire has also trained in Jikiden Reiki, a Japanese form of Usui Reiki, and since 2010 she is a Jikiden Reiki Shihan or Teacher associated with the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto, Japan.

Claire runs the Emerald City Reiki Center, Seattle where Reiki treatments are offered as well as classes in Jikiden and Usui Shiki Ryoho.
